ORLANDO, Fla., Oct 8, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) today announced the deployment of its iATMglobal Cash and Shop e-commerce solution by Welch Systems in the St. Louis, Mo., area. The solution will be operational on over 180 NCR EasyPoint(TM) automated teller machines (ATMs) situated in convenience stores and gas stations in and around St. Louis.

iATMglobal's turn-key infrastructure enables individual or networked ATMs to offer new products and services to the consumer. The solution is specifically targeted at the retail off-premise banking and independent sales organization market. Transactions available through iATMglobal include multiple long-distance phone cards, movie tickets and pre-paid wireless recharge. Further product offerings such as travel and event tickets, flower arrangements and gifts will soon be implemented.

Welch Systems Vice President of Sales Jeff Hewitt sees the availability of such services and NCR's iATMglobal solution as a key differentiator, bringing more convenience to the consumer and increasing the value proposition of the ATM.
