DAYTON, Ohio, Oct 12, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR), and GoldenGate Software Inc., a leading provider of transactional data management solutions, today announced a strategic distribution and joint development partnership agreement integrating GoldenGate(TM) products with Teradata(R) Warehouse 8.0.
The companies are announcing GoldenGate Software for Teradata, a solution that is designed to provide an optimized means of synchronizing data between the Teradata Warehouse and other database systems within a customer's enterprise.
The GoldenGate for Teradata solution enables customers to develop active data warehousing initiatives, perform data mart consolidations and migrations and implement Teradata Dual Active Solutions, or as part of business initiatives requiring near real-time data synchronization throughout the enterprise. As part of the agreement, Teradata will market, sell, distribute and provide first-line support to Teradata customers globally.
