LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 2003--NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) today announced it has signed a multiyear contract with Euronet Worldwide to provide hardware maintenance and support services for 1,500 ATMs (including 625 Diebold units) situated in five countries. The ATMs are in Poland, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic and Egypt and represent over 80 percent of Euronet Worldwide's installed base in Europe.
The ATMs included under this maintenance contract are guaranteed a high service level in terms of customer availability, satisfying the current needs of Euronet's network clients.
The cooperation between NCR and Euronet has resulted in a quick implementation of the agreement and the commencement of the provision of multivendor services. Under the terms of the contract, NCR will provide support for both NCR and Diebold ATMs.
