With over 8,000 ATMs all over China, CCB is already one of the major providers in the financial self-service market.
The introduction of these new machines will give CCB branches the capability to provide services such as bill payment, Web advertising and smart-card applications via the self-service channel.
In addition to providing more convenience to customers, the introduction of the new ATMs will further enable CCB to develop its card business. With increasing use of smart cards in China, CCB sees the ATM as an important channel for smart card replenishment.
