FedEx Corp. Selects NCR Teradata for Data Warehouse Needs
DAYTON, Ohio, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Data warehousing leader NCR (NYSE: NCR) and FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), the premier global provider of transportation, logistics, e-commerce and supply-chain management services, announced that FedEx has installed an enterprise data warehouse solution from NCR Corporation. The NCR Teradata Warehouse has enabled FedEx to make faster customer-focused business decisions by providing an enterprise-wide view of each customer through all points of contact with FedEx.
The multi-terabyte solution, based on NCR's industry leading Teradata(R) database, includes NCR consulting and support services, hardware and software.
