DAYTON, Ohio, May 15, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR), announced today that its Teradata Extract/Load Solution 1.0 has achieved "Certified for SAP NetWeaver(R)" integration through the completion of the Open Hub Service for SAP BW 3.5 (BW-OHS) certification. The SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) Open Hub Service complements Teradata's recent qualifications for the Teradata Driver for the JDBC Interface 3.2, which achieved SAP(R) Universal Data Connect (UDC) certification for SAP NetWeaver BI and Teradata Application Platform's "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification. These evolutions provide customers the ability to easily leverage existing investments in solutions from SAP and Teradata.

Teradata is an SAP Global Technology Partner. This latest certification is part of the continued dedication of Teradata's strategic alliance with SAP to provide customer-driven solutions. The Open Hub Service for SAP BW allows customers to share and transfer data from SAP NetWeaver BI with Teradata. SAP Open Hub features are used to move data directly from SAP Business Information Warehouse, a component of SAP NetWeaver BI, to Teradata. As a result, consistent data models and metadata can be used across the entire enterprise. Data is warehoused where it is needed, without creating data silos or "stovepipes."
