MASSY, France--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 2003--Banque Chabrieres, a member of the Mousquetaires Group, has selected NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) to replace half of its existing automated teller machines (ATMs) located in INTERMARCHE retail outlets and to extend the presence of ATMs to other INTERMARCHE stores located in rural areas or on the outskirts of small- and medium-size towns. This deal means all of Chabrieres' INTERMARCHE ATMs will be supplied by NCR with NCR providing all ATM maintenance services.

The long-standing relationship of trust between the bank and NCR prompted Banque Chabrieres to select 250 Personas 70 machines to replace and extend its pool of ATMs. The new machines will conform to smart-card standards mandated by Visa and MasterCard. The quality of the ATMs and NCR's level of service played a decisive role in Banque Chabrieres' choice.
