DAYTON, Ohio, Jul 29, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) today announced that NCR and Yahoo! Inc. have resolved, to their mutual satisfaction, a patent infringement lawsuit related to NCR's e-commerce patents. Yahoo! entered a patent license with NCR as part of the settlement. Financial and other terms of the settlement agreement and patent license are confidential.
The lawsuit was filed in December 2002 in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (Case Number C-02-5813-SBA). The NCR e-commerce patents at issue in the lawsuit were U.S. Patent Numbers: 5,699,526; 5,721,906; 5,832,496; 5,951,643; 5,954,798; 6,026,403; 6,085,223; 6,151,601; 6,169,997; and 6,480,855.
