Union Bank of Norway Turns to NCR in $13 Million Management Services Deal

DAYTON, Ohio, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) today announced a contract with Union Bank of Norway for a range of information technology (IT) management services.

Under the three-year agreement, worth approximately $13 million, NCR will provide continuous operational monitoring for all IT equipment located in over 300 branch locations throughout Norway. NCR will also manage the bank's e-business network infrastructure, including its Internet banking and internal e-procurement systems.

The remote services are provided at NCR's Managed Service Center in Oslo, Norway, one of several NCR worldwide enterprise management facilities. In addition to on-site hardware maintenance, NCR will provide additional services for Union Bank of Norway including database administration, backup and restore functions, and virus control.
