DULUTH, Ga., Apr 19, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) today named Jennifer Daniels as its general counsel and corporate secretary, reporting to NCR Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bill Nuti. Daniels, 46, most recently served as vice president, general counsel and secretary of Barnes & Noble, Inc. She will be responsible for all legal matters at the company. Ms. Daniels was selected following an extensive search and evaluation of internal and external candidates.

Earlier in her career, Daniels served for over sixteen years with IBM, holding positions including vice president, general counsel for IBM Americas, vice president, assistant general counsel for litigation and most recently, vice president, assistant general counsel and chief trust and compliance officer (the first in IBM's history).

Following her graduation, with distinction, from Harvard Law School, Ms. Daniels served as an attorney in two private law firms in the state of New York.
