ATLANTA, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Boddie-Noell Enterprises Inc., a major independent U.S. Hardee's franchisee, today announced it will install NCR Corporation's (NYSE: NCR) touch-screen, Web-enabled POS solutions in 350 of its restaurants nationwide. Rollout is expected to conclude within three years.
The POS hardware, system integration, staging and professional services will be provided by Century Data Group, a Raleigh-based division of NCR authorized reseller Systech Retail Systems, Inc. (Toronto: SYS).
Boddie-Noell, which currently owns and operates 335 Hardee's restaurants, 13 Texas Steakhouses, and several business, club and residential properties, selected the NCR 7454 POS terminals because they offer functionality far beyond the traditional touchscreen ordering system. When it is not in use by store personnel, the multimedia workstations can run customer promotions or employee training programs.
